Noah ParkerPayrun Notifications help you stay informed about important activities and updates across your organization. Notifications can alert you to workforce changes, employee invitations, timelog activity, and other actions that may need your attention.
You can review recent notifications from anywhere in Payrun through the notification bell or open the full Notifications page for a complete history.
The Notification bell appears in the top-right corner of Payrun.
Locate the bell icon in the top navigation bar.
Check the number badge beside the bell to see how many new notifications you have.
Click the bell icon to open the notification preview.
Review your latest notifications directly from the panel.

The notification badge helps you identify new activity without opening the full Notifications page.
The notification preview provides quick access to recent activity. For a complete view:
Click the bell icon in the top-right corner.
Click the expand icon in the upper-right corner of the notification panel.

Payrun opens the full Notifications page.

The full page separates notifications by status and provides more space to review organization activity.
The notification preview groups recent updates based on when they occurred, such as Today and Older.
Each notification may display:
The person associated with the activity
A short description of the action
How long ago the activity occurred
A blue indicator for unread or new activity
For example, a notification may tell you that a contact was created or another organization-related action occurred.
The New tab contains notifications you have not yet marked as seen.
A number beside New shows how many new notifications are currently available.
Notifications may include events such as:
An employee joining a department
An employee invitation being sent
An employee invitation being canceled
A timelog being added
A timelog being updated
A timelog being removed
Some notifications provide contextual actions. For example, an employee-related notification may include a Go to profile button that lets you open the relevant employee profile directly.
The Seen tab contains notifications that have already been reviewed or marked as seen.
To check them:
Open the full Notifications page.
Select the Seen tab.
Review previously seen notifications.
The number beside the tab indicates how many seen notifications are available in the current list.
Payrun lets you clear all new notifications at once instead of reviewing their unread status individually.
Open the Notifications page.
Stay on the New tab.
Click Mark all as seen in the upper-right corner.
Payrun moves the notifications from New to Seen.

After all new notifications have been marked as seen, the New count changes to 0 and the Mark all as seen option becomes unavailable until new notifications arrive.
When the New tab has no notifications, Payrun displays an empty state with the message:
You have seen all notifications.
A 0 beside the New tab also confirms that no unseen notifications remain.
Previously reviewed notifications can still be accessed from the Seen tab.

The Payrun notification system provides one place to keep track of important organization activity. Use the bell icon for a quick view, open the full Notifications page for more detail, switch between New and Seen notifications, and use Mark all as seen when you want to clear your new notification list.
