Noah ParkerThe Monthly Summary view provides a complete overview of employee working hours for an entire month. Instead of reviewing daily timelogs individually, managers can quickly compare scheduled hours, logged hours, leave hours, and balances for every employee.
This view is particularly useful during attendance reviews, overtime checks, and payroll preparation.
The Monthly Summary helps managers answer questions such as:
How many hours did an employee work this month?
How many scheduled hours were assigned?
Did an employee take leave?
Does an employee have missing hours?
Are there overtime or balance issues?
To access the Monthly Summary:
Open Timeline from the left sidebar.
Select the Monthly Summary tab.

The page displays monthly totals for all employees.
The Monthly Summary displays employees on the left side and dates across the top.

Each employee contains several summary rows. The system uses abbreviations to display monthly totals:
S-Scheduled hours
L-Leave hours
PL-Paid leave hours
B-Balance hours
The S row displays scheduled working hours.

Review attendance records.
The PL row displays paid leave information.
Paid leave hours appear separately from regular leave entries.
This allows organizations to distinguish between different leave types during attendance and payroll reviews.

Positive balances may indicate:
